coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights,
who does not change like shifting shadows.”

COUNTDOWN to FOREVER
Our Love Story
We met in January 2019 at Faith Adventist Academy, Taytay, Palawan, where we both served as teachers. What began as a simple friendship grew deeper through shared ministry—especially in Master Guide—and through adventures that strengthened our bond. As Scripture reminds us, “Two are better than one… for if they fall, one will lift up his companion” (Ecclesiastes 4:9–10).
Before we met, there was a prayer that God would lead us to someone who would draw us closer to Him. In His faithfulness, that prayer was answered, for “Trust in the Lord with all your heart… and He shall direct your paths” (Proverbs 3:5–6). In time, we found in each other a love rooted in faith and guided by God’s principles.
Though our paths once led us to different places—Bhong lives in Mindanao and I here in Palawan—we remained just friends during that time. God reunited us in His perfect time. The distance between us became part of our story, teaching us patience, faith, and trust, as we learned that “He has made everything beautiful in its time” (Ecclesiastes 3:11).
Today, we choose each other before God—trusting His leading, strengthened by faith, and sealed in His presence—believing that “a threefold cord is not quickly broken” (Ecclesiastes 4:12). With grateful hearts, we commit our marriage to Him, believing that our union reflects Christ’s love for His church.
All glory and honor belong to God.
