Growing up Story

From the moment I opened my eyes to this world, I was surrounded by love—the kind that nurtured me, guided me, and molded me into who I am today. Growing up wasn’t always easy, but it was beautiful in its own way.

Life is indeed a roller coaster ride for me. Highs and lows, ups and downs, good and bad—all offered by life. Since then, I have a love-hate relationship with how life is, because how come life can make you feel like today is worth living and cry the same night feeling like the whole world is against you; an unexplainable feeling that only life can make you feel.

In this life-long journey, realizations, experiences, mistakes and people i love and loved made me into who i am today. I learned that life is a never ending trial-and-error cycle—we try and try until we reach the goal or outcome we wanted so bad to attain, and that mistakes aren’t failures; they are chances that would help us to learn and improve as a person. Despite all, life is indeed beautiful, we just have to learn how to live the beauty of it.

Turning 18 feels like standing on the edge of two worlds—the comfort of childhood behind me and the wide-open possibilities of adulthood stretching out ahead. It’s strange how something as simple as a number can feel so heavy with meaning.

And now, as I stand here at 18, at the crossroads between childhood and adulthood, I look back with gratitude. 

This debut isn’t just a celebration of my age, it’s a celebration of growth, love, and the people who walked with me through every chapter of my life. As I turn 18, I carry with me the lessons of the past, the joy of the present, and the hope for a future that shines even brighter.
