Our Love Story

Our story began in high school, where we were not just schoolmates, but classmates. Back then, we were young, carefree, and unaware that life was already quietly weaving our destinies together. In 2014, we started dating—innocent and hopeful, yet still learning what love truly meant.

Love revealed itself to us in the most unexpected way. A life-changing motorbike accident tested everything. In that moment, we thought we wouldn’t survive. But God had other plans. He gave us another chance at life—and at love. That experience changed us forever. It taught us gratitude, faith, and the value of holding on to what truly matters.

After that, we met each other’s parents and began dating “for real.” Simple dates, meaningful conversations, and shared dreams filled our days. Our comfort food was always Jollibee—a small but sweet reminder that happiness doesn’t have to be complicated.

In 2016, life led us in different directions. He moved to the United States while I continued my college journey. Distance tested us, and in 2019, we parted ways. We grew apart, learned about ourselves, chased our own dreams, and found success in our own paths. Though separated, God was still working quietly in our lives.

In 2022, our paths crossed again at his mom’s wedding—where I was the makeup artist. I never imagined that moment would mark a new beginning. What we once thought was over was only being prepared for something greater. He found the courage to pursue me again, patiently and sincerely, proving that real love doesn’t give up.

In 2023, he proposed—and this time, I said yes. It was the sweetest second chance we could have ever asked for. A love renewed, matured, and grounded in faith. We laughed more, loved deeper, and appreciated each other in ways we never did before.

In 2024, we took a leap of faith and moved in together in the United States, choosing to build our life side by side. Then, on Valentine’s Day, a day celebrated for love, we made our forever official and became husband and wife. Surrounded by love and guided by faith, our journey entered its most beautiful chapter yet.

Marriage hasn’t been perfect—but it has been real. Through ups and downs, joys and challenges, we continue to choose each other every day. Above all, we thank God for restoring what was once broken and turning it into something even more beautiful.

Our love story is a testament to God’s perfect timing. Sometimes love needs distance, growth, and faith to truly flourish. And when it returns, it comes back stronger, sweeter, and more meaningful than ever.

This is our forever—our second chance—and our greatest blessing.
