Our Love Story

We were in high school when we first met, during our junior year, classmates who were young, carefree, and clueless about what love truly meant. We became lovers, but back then we were immature, and maybe what we had was just the “puppy love” everyone talks about. As the years passed, cupid kept trying to reconnect us, but timing was never on our side. He would try to reach out, but it was simply not our moment.

As we grew older, life taught us its lessons—about love, patience, and what it really means to choose someone.

Then, after a decade, fate decided to try again. It began with something as simple as an IG story, and JC’s reply: “Kamusta?” I admit, I was cold at first. Maybe because of what happened in the past, maybe because I didn’t want to be hurt again. But he was patient. He didn’t give up on my kasupladahan, and that persistence slowly broke through my walls. I saw how much he had changed—from the young boy I once knew to the simple, steady gentleman he had become.

He was on board when we started talking again, and we gave each other another chance. When he finished another contract at sea, we finally met in person after so many years. In that moment, everything fell into place. We reconnected effortlessly and felt the same love we once had—only this time, it was deeper, more mature, and built on shared dreams and the same direction in life.

After three years of choosing each other, growing together, and building a love that finally arrived at the right time… we decided on forever.
