Growing up Story

Time flies so fast, I can still remember my childhood years.I was that “kikay” and tender-hearted girl who found happiness in glitter pens and empty pages. I love writing poems in the corners of my notebooks and poured love into everything I do, whether it was a handmade letter or a simple act of kindness. Even then, I carried big dreams in a small heart always believing that effort and sincerity makes things more special.

Over the years,my family remained my anchor. They were my strength behind my loudest victories and the comfort during my silent battles. They shaped my values and taught me the way how to love. Because of them, I grew up knowing that love does not come with conditions or limits—it is given and expressed wholeheartedly.

As I started to go to school, it felt like stepping into the real world. It was there that I realized life is never easy. Along the way, I encountered failures that bruised my confidence and challenges that demanded courage I did not know I possessed. Every fall molded me to always rise up and have faith in God. I uncovered hidden talents, strengthened old passions, and built friendships that turned ordinary days into unforgettable memories. I also learned how to speak up, to listen, to stand firm, and how to stay kind even when life felt difficult.

And now, as I unlock another  chapter in my life, I looked back at the little girl I once was and smiled at how far she has become. Both my childhood and teenage years has shaped me into someone braver, kinder, and more self-aware having confidence that no matter what lies ahead, I am always supported and never alone.

This debut is more than just a celebration—it is the fulfillment of a young girl’s dream and the beginning of a woman’s story. It honors the people who walked beside me, guided me, and believed in me long before I believe in myself. As I welcome adulthood, I promise to carry with me the lessons, values, and love that has raised me.

Today, I do not simply turn 18—I blossom into the woman I am meant to become, ready to face the world with strength, grace, and a heart that remains as genuine as that little “Kikay girl”who loves to write and give her best in everything she does.
