HER POV:
“Sino ‘tong gwapo na ‘to na nakaupo sa nurse’s station?” That was my first thought when I first saw him at work. Our units just merged and there was a lot of staff being mixed on both floors. This was back in 2017. I saw him there, in slow motion with lighting effects char lol. I didn’t even know he was Filipino until he asked me if I was Filipino (I tend to have a strong accent, so obvious). We started having small talks at work, until we decided to hang out in Trinoma, Philippines and that’s when we became officially a couple. When Patrick first asked me to marry him, my first thought was, I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with this man. He came to my parent’s house, talked to my Tatay and Nanay, then asked for my hand in marriage. He promised to love and take care of me, and my firstborn daughter, Xhannon. Our love blossomed and blessed us with 2 more beautiful babies, Aliya and Anthony.
HIS POV:
It was one morning at work coming off of a huddle heading towards the nurses station. This new nurse I noticed. Her pretty and innocent look caught my eyes. I had to talk to her. Started small talk and asking if she was Filipino, even though it was obvious with her accent lol. From that moment we shared a lot of interest. We talked a lot about food and travel and immediately saw our future together. She was beautiful inside/out. Her goofy innocent personality and cooking made me fall even more. Our food trips and travel to the philippines and canada sealed it. I knew she was going to be my travel buddy/wife for life. One day we had a deep conversation, and I, without hesitation, proposed to her. This was the beginning of my forever.
