Growing up Story

When I was little, Saturday afternoons meant being alone in the living room with a stack of Disney CDs. Everyone else would be busy, and I’d press play on Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty, even though I already knew every scene by heart. 

I loved the grand magic of it all; the dresses, the castles, the feeling that somewhere out there, everything would eventually turn out right. Those stories made me a dreamer.

But somewhere along the way, growing up changed the way I saw those fairytales. I began to notice the parts I had never paid attention to before—the hardships, the uncertainty, the long journeys where lessons quietly linger. And I realized that life is a little bit like that, too. 

Through it all, I’ve been lucky to grow up with individuals who took part in my story. I am the sum of the people around me, and for that, I’m endlessly grateful to my family and friends for their continuous love and support. 

Now, as I turn eighteen, a season of discovery and greater independence, I am excited to step into this new chapter of what lies ahead.
